Sounds unreliable
Sarah the engine does not rev to create sound – it's all fake pumped in audio thru the speakers.
I believe these cars will be very nice for the intended typical life span of 10 ish years. Beyond that and once you start pushing 200k miles the amount of electronics issues that will come up will likely send these to the junk yard prematurely sadly.
I’m also getting 70mpg with regenerative breaking.
Accord should be a liftback.
Putting car on a lift is the most interesting part of your videos. Hope you will start to dissemble them a bit.
Use car to sleep quarter and move from Mc Donald to mall toilet is enough and last long time and need no repair but don't use it for work it hurt environmental
The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio in vehicles sold in the USA (Available in Canada, If you can do it in Canada why not the US) . If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved. Latest news: As of January 2024 you can purchase a spare tire kit from the Honda parts department.
Sarah, first, a great review! What I did notice is that the back-up lights are a joke. More like mood lighting. Second, the electric mode safety noise is quite strange. With all the settings you showed in the review, there’s got to be a setting that changes the sound to say something like Rick Astley’ “Never Gonna Give You Up”.

I agree with Sarah. The first time I saw this accord, I said "It looks like a Taurus". Pretty lame Honda. You can do better.
Soap box alert: I feel like for the past 30 years Honda could have done better. After the 4th gen Civics (aka street legal go karts) Honda's became increasingly boring and pedestrian. I owned a few new models in the 90's and genuinely hated them. Calling them a transportation appliance is far too kind. Traded them in under a year's time and walked away from the brand.

In the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s we drove RWD sedans and pony cars, with fire breathing V8’s.
I would definitely use 5W-30 motor oil and on top of the line oil filter. Specially, if the engine has the rev that hard I definitely want it protected and the 5W-30 I’m talking about is Castrol in the gold bottle

idk how everyone gets over 40 mpg on their hybrid accords, I drive a bit fast and through 62k+ miles it's at 34.5-35 mpg lifetime. I can hit 40 in city driving traffic and around 34-36 mpg on highway depending on how fast I'm driving or how aggressive I'm passing. I really need to get those 17 inch rims and tires, these 19 inches are a drag.
it's a great car, but i wished it was fast like the 2.0t accords were. now it is nothing more than an appliance.

Ambient Lighting was installed on China/Asian market but not on the US Market, the greedy US manufacturers prioritize their profits first before the consumer’s interest.
I wish they still had the manual transmission. Yes I own a '14 with the 6 speed manual. My wife has a CR-V Hybrid, it's weird. Also it works well.
