Test driven Kia Sportage, Lexus UX, Kia Niro , Toyota Yaris – the HONDA HRV was the best drive for me at 6ft 2 . Comfy seats & handled really well & was brisk around town. Most of my journeys. Coming from E class so speed not important. This HRV could be the one . As an old fart I like the simple controls AC dash layout. Plenty of Honda deals currently. Insurance is is expensive as an EV sadly. No lumbar on Elegance is a negative , but seats are comfy . Another test drive needed

Honda is like Sony of the car world. They make quality product but the have some unxpected flaws and also they are mispriced, they are always more expensive for what they offer and that's why their sales are plunging down in Europe and they will never sell well if they contininue with that kind of policy

We were looking for a new car for my wife and she really loved the looks of the new HR-V. I'm also a former Honda owner and I'm all for the japanese reliability so I recommended Honda to her. We test drove it a week ago and then again today and we also test drove the civic hybrid for comparison. My wife prefers the looks and the high seating position of a crossover but she decided to go with the civic instead. The engine noise in HR-V is simply unacceptable. You can drive the car like a pensioner but as soon as you want to merge on a motorway or overtake someone the noise will kill your ears. The civic is on another level, smooth, fast and quiet.

Ich habe vor 4 Monaten den Honda Hr.V Hybrid gekauft. Ich kann Honda leider nicht empfehlen. Ich bin echt enttäuscht. Auch wenn die Youtuber die Autos von Honda gut reden im wirklichkeit sind die Autos nicht gut.

Drove one of these as a courtesy car today. I found the interior a bit cheap (especially the gear stick), the seat was uncomfortable, and as you mentioned the gearbox was very revvy. It felt modern, but I couldn’t live with it long term, it just felt a bit mushy to drive.
