BMW Motorrad approached Marcus Walz and his team at WalzWerk to create a scrambler variant for the new R12 boxer lineup. The team at WalzWerk did not disappoint, showcasing the customizability of the R12 by turning it into a stunning scrambler. The new subframe on the R12 can be easily removed with just four bolts, allowing for customization options. They fitted 19F/17R edge-spoke wheels from a BMW R1250GS, extended the front forks by an inch, and added Continental TKC80 tires to maintain grip. The bike features a modified steel fuel tank, traditional BMW Motorsport colors, and a bright red leather seat cover.
